The
club I went to was MUN (Model United Nations club). I went to MUN because my
brother recommended this club instead of all the other clubs. I am even
thinking about joining MUN. I also went to free the children but I enjoyed MUN
more. I
thought the club was very cool, talking about our countries that people chose.
I liked the concept, and my friends were going too. When I went to my very
first meeting, the room was very packed. I didn't realize that so many people
wanted to join the club. The club meetings are held on Fridays on 11 at Mr.Pococks'
room #214. The older students who were talking about the club was very
passionate about MUN. They gave us instructions on how we could sign up, pick a
country and other things. I suggest this club
because it helps your speech skills as well as your debate skills which are
great. In addition, you get to meet and socialize with people who have the same
interests as you and get to see what is happening around the world talking
about world problems.
GOOD JOB ERICK! ~-~
ReplyDeletehi its sahil
Deletegood job i liked how you took the advice from your brother to join the club because then people will know that you are open to ideas and that you will not ignore them. you also talked about the leader
of the group and how passionate he is and i wonder if you feel the same about the club.
i think you did the option number 1 (Write as if you are a reporter) because you told me all about and why i should join the mun club.
Hi Eric,
ReplyDeleteI think that you did really good for your first post. I like that you said what you heard, saw, and thought when you were at the meeting. I think that you could have given some details about the club. I wasn't quite sure what the club was about. I think that you fit the criteria well (if you did the first option). I also think that you sold the club well.
